By default the accompaniment tempo is expressed as a percentage. Our accompaniments have been recorded by real musicians who performed the pieces according to a certain interpretation with small variations in tempo (bpm).
When the tempo is 100% it means that you play exactly along the interpretation of the Piano accompanist or orchestra. When you tap on a note of the score while being on pause you can see as a reference the bpm of the accompaniment at that moment in the piece.
Constant tempo on the contrary let you play with a bpm that doesn’t change throughout the whole piece, like a metronome. To activate the constant tempo, drag the score settings bar up, go to the Performance tab and switch Constant tempo on.
